Casa Fortis LLC ("Casa Fortis," "we," "us") is a cybersecurity consulting business based in Miami, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it. We keep it short because our website does very little with your data.
Information we collect
This website does not host a contact form. You share information with us only when you choose to:
- Booking a mini assessment. Our scheduling link is hosted by Proton (Proton Calendar). When you book, the details you enter — such as your name, email address, and any notes — are collected and stored by Proton on our behalf, and used to schedule and prepare for your session.
- Email and phone. If you email us, we receive whatever you send and keep that correspondence so we can respond and follow up. If you call or text, we see your number and any message you leave. We do not record calls.
- Basic analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally.
- The free domain check. When you type a domain into the checker on our home page, we look up that domain's public DNS records through a small lookup service we run on Cloudflare. If that service can't be reached, your browser asks a public DNS service (Cloudflare or Google) directly. Either way, we do not store or log the domain you type.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for advertising.
How we use it
We use the information above only to respond to you, schedule and deliver the services you ask for, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
Client engagement data
Information gathered during a paid security assessment or engagement is separate from this website and is governed by the written agreement we sign with each client. Assessment findings are treated as confidential and are not published or shared without the client's written permission.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that operate parts of our business on our behalf — currently our scheduling provider (Proton), our email provider, our website host (Cloudflare), and our analytics provider — and only as needed to run those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention
We keep booking and email correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping needs, then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will take care of it.
